Instructions
In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter and sauté the onions. Once onions are fully coated in butter, add the baking soda. Saute about 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, thyme, and onion mix packet.
Layer the pork chops in a 9x13 casserole dish. Top with sour cream mix, followed by sauteed onion mixture. Cover with sliced Swiss cheese.
Bake at 350F covered with tinfoil for 30 minutes. Remove the tinfoil and broil on high for a couple of minutes to bubble and brown the cheese.
